Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum has been developed around the Victorian Curriculum and strives to make learning a visible process for all students.

The curriculum is co-constructed with staff based on student needs and current cohorts. Throughlines are used to guide the inquiry based learning and connections are made to Literacy and Numeracy.

The lessons are differentiated to meet all academic levels in a classroom, so regardless of whether a student is at the top of the class or needing support, all are expected to demonstrate learning growth.

Our four through-lines for inquiry based learning are:

  • Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies
  • Sustainability
  • Citizenship
  • Innovation

Our specialist programs are:

  • Japanese
  • The Arts - Visual Arts and Performance
  • Physical Education and Movement
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
  • Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

We also offer a range of intervention and support programs to ensure our students have the fundamental skills and knowledge to progress:

  • Literacy Support
  • Program for Students with Disabilities
