The Student Representative Council (SRC) empowers every student to have a say. It serves as a platform for sharing ideas, suggestions, and requests for improvements in school practices. One of its primary objectives is to raise funds and awareness for those in need.
Each year, representatives are chosen from classes to join the SRC. Regular meetings are held to address issues affecting St Albans Heights Primary School, with the school staff facilitating these meetings. This hands-on approach fosters a direct connection between staff and student concerns. SRC members are tasked with gathering input from their peers and reporting back after meetings.
The SRC engages in various initiatives, including event organization, recycling efforts, charity drives, procurement of sports and play equipment, playground safety measures, and the establishment of downball rules.
