Curriculum

Our Curriculum has been developed around the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. Our school provides a safe, supportive and motivating environment where your child will experience a stimulating curriculum with challenging and achievable educational goals that will meet their learning needs.
Our core programs are structured around the Early Years and Middle Years philosophies and include:-

• Vietnamese and Sudanese speaking support staff
• Family Support Worker
• A large network of student computers in classrooms
• A well equiped computer lab with 26 computers for student use
• Interactive White Boards.
• Multicultural Vegetable Garden
• Annual Camp and Swimming Programs
• Excursions and visiting performers
• Life Education – does this say “drug” or would parents think “sex” education??
• Western Bulldogs Multi-cultural Football program
• Student directed recycling
• Dance Program
• Optional keyboard & Guitar lessons
• Waterwise program

We actively strive to equip students to be successful, lifelong learners using thinking skills including Habits of Mind, our School Values and nurture leadership skills through our School Captains and the Student Representative Council.

In 2009 we will continue to develop

• Conflict resolution for Prep to Grade Six
